Maintain your brakes with SRAM's Standard Bleed Kit.COMPATIBILITY- Each 1 bleed blocks for all Guide, XX and X0 brakes.BIKE BRAKE FLUID- Without DOT5.1 brake fluid.CONFIDENT BIKE BRAKING- The kit includes all the essentials to get the job done right.Caliper Compatibility: SRAM XX, XO, Guide Ultimate, Level, & Avid hydraulic disc brakes) Fluid Compatibility: DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 Brake FluidVariety of caliper bleed blocks (Avid, Guide Ultimate, XX, XO, & Level)Pad spacersReplacement seals and parts2 bleed syringes3 Lever bleed syringes with clampsRemove pad retainer bolt, E-clip, and brake pads.Insert bleed block into caliper to press the pistons fully into the bores.Reinstall pad retainer bolt.Thread lever bleed clamp assembly and bleeding edge tool on to syringes.Fill lever bleed syringe 3/4 full with DOT fluid.Fill syringe with bleeding edge tool with small amount of DOT fluid.Ensure there are no air bubbles and close syringe clamp.Install syringe into prepared lever bleed port.Remove bleed plug.Use 4mm hex wrench to loosen bleed port valve and gently re-tighten.Push bleeding edge tool into caliper bleed port.You will hear and feel it click into place.Rotate bleeding edge too counter-clockwise to open the system.Open lever syringe clamp.Hold syringe vertically, gently push the plunger down, stopping before air enters hose tube. Brake fluid will fill the syringe at the caliper.Hold caliper syringe vertically and slowly pull lever syringe plunger upward to draw fluid from caliper syringe.Repeat until only a small amount of bubbles appear.Rotate bleeding edge tool clockwise to close system.Squeeze, then release lever blade.Hold syringe vertically, and firmly pull plunger to create vacuum, then compress plunger to pressurize and equalize system. Close clamp on syringe, and remove system.Reinstall bleed screw, bleed plug, remove bleed block.Use water and a rag to remove any DOT fluid.Reinstall brake pads, pad retainer bolt, and E-clip.Bicycles improve the environment.Bicycles ease traffic congestion.Bicycles reduce the cost of transportation.Bicycles improve health and reduce obesity.
